I’ve been working on some web designs the last few weeks.
For shits and giggles I pulled up my very first design… THE old LFP site.
While I was cruising down memory lane I remembered I use to play the game “What’s on my desk”. Where I would either take a bunch of stuff on my desk and throw it in my scanner, or just take photos of my desk and post them…. I use to love that game! So I’m bringing it back! My desk has been I little thrashed these days – If you have been keeping tabs on my daily nonsense, you’d know that I’m in one of my creative internal hurricanes.
With that being said, I snapped these photos a few days ago – I had just walked in from visiting my good friend Eric Marshall at his brewery. I was over there taking photos for his new website that Tina (over at Cubic) is working on. At any rate, I’m currently working on a more in depth post about Eric Marshall and what’s been happening over at his brewery…… It’s pretty exciting stuff!
If you don’t know, I did the main illustrations for each of his beers. I worked closely with Tina who designed the actual beer label. (and logo – which is the bomb.com) Eric just recently went into full production with his 22oz beer bottles! I’m so excited! You can see a couple of them on my desk in the second photo. My favorite illustration – the Marshall Wheat was missing in action that day, (due to popular demand!*), so I need to run back over there on monday to pick it up a few bottles. The Wheat beer features one of my infamous trees. (You can barely see the illustration on the beer coasters in the second photo) Seeing my tree on something as awesome as Eric’s Wheat Beer: bottles – tap handles – beer coasters – tee shirts, is probably one the most gratifying things – ever. AH – I have so much to say about Eric and his business, but I will wait until I write the full post. Anyway, here you go….
