Who needs sleep? I’m hustling to get everything wrapped up for the big show this Friday and because I’m running at 100 mph I can’t seem to settle down and fall asleep. So I jump out of bed and keep working. Eventually I will pass out right?

As if I didn’t have enough on my plate, [LFP Right to Left Show this weekend in North Carolina and moving offices this week], I just found out something awesome:

I will be reuniting with the Jivin Scientists crew [Tucson AZ] for a show here at The Continental!!
I’m not kidding… I found out on Saturday they would be making their way to Tulsa and I have been trippin ever since. The best part about it: I’ll be painting live on stage with them. This is insane. I haven’t seen these kids in over 7 years and here we are getting ready to work together….
The last event I saw them rock was the final show at FREQUENCY…

I would get countless demos when I had my record shop, .. They were all horrible. One day Deeko walked in and gave me his, he was modest and extremely sincere. Before I even listened to it, I knew there was something special about this guy – perhaps it was the fire in his eye, or how eloquently he described his brother [the MC]. I just knew there was something different.. The Demo was for a crew called “Jivin Scientists”… JS consists of Deeko, the DJ – Runt, the MC – Chase Crusher , a producer – and Phen, another producer. The demo was unbelievable. The energy, the passion, the lyrics, the hunger was just simply amazing. I could go on and on about how talented these cats are, but you just need to come out and see for yourself. I technically signed them and asked them to open my first concert – the Atmosphere “God Loves Ugly” show. They killed it, seeing Runt on stage changed my life. His passion is unparalleled, his energy is unique and his talents are appreciated by all. Whether you love hip hip, or hate it. Please for the love of god – support one show I recommend to you this year and come out to see JS and I reunite for the first time in 7 years. Please tell everyone you know. I promise you, Runt will pour his fucking heart out to you on that stage and you’ll get it….

Be at the Continental between 9 – 10PM on Monday May 12^th. Please – please – please….. I really can’t believe this is going to happen! Please be there! Support the passion – support the hunger – support the love! You know I’ve told you about them before…
