This really just happened.
15 minutes ago. I can’t believe it.
I’m driving back down to the office and as I am about to park I see the Cameravan! I’ve seen photos of this thing over the last 10 or so years but I never thought I would run into it by the studio!

The story goes: “One night In the fall of 1993, Harrod Blank had a dream in which he covered his car with cameras and then drove around and took pictures of people on the streets. The public, unaware that the cameras worked, reacted naturally. At the end of the dream, Harrod looked at pictures taken with the van of faces frozen in the moment of awe, pictures so powerful that the next morning he decided to attempt to build such a vehicle in reality.”
I recommend you take the time to learn more about his story: here.
An incredible story… And it’s true you know – Follow your dreams.

I snapped one photo and let them get back to business. There will be an opening tomorrow afternoon at the Liggit studio and will feature photos taken from the van and photos of other really awesome cars that are similar in creativity. I’m stoked.
Life is so random and beautiful. Just like that, in 15 minutes, I took some of the most ridiculously creative photos I have ever taken. And it wasn’t even on my calendar.
