Life is hilarious. When was the last time I wrote about life? Too long. I was watching Fully Flared last week and I came to a great little theory / lesson / analogy about life. I can’t remember if it was during Rick Howard’s section or not, but he hits a 10(ish) stair hand rail with a stopper at the very bottom of the rail.

I’m sitting here working on a few things on my house. Outside, across the street, my neighbors have propped up two folding chairs and are currently staring at their porch. Well, it’s their soon to be porch. In between sips of lemonade, they work slowly on measuring, placing, painting, smiling, drilling, cutting and sawing. They’ve been working together on this project for weeks. Only sitting her now, it occurs to me that perhaps I should have taken photos of their project. But it’s best this way. Just use your imagination….

I don’t know how I missed it, but a few years back Dave Watson [From team Kona] gap-jumped the Tour de France peloton during the Alp d’Huez stage. The jump took place just before the summit of the col de Galibier.

I didn’t know a whole lot about Woody Guthrie a year ago, but it’s amazing what can transpire in such a short amount of time. As you have probably figured out by now, I’m fascinated with some obscure things. So when Woody Guthrie was brought to my attention sometime last year, I couldn’t help but to explore. This past weekend was the Woody Guthrie Festival in Okemah, OK.
